According to family records Thomas Price was born  1/4/1810

Moses Price was baptised 17 Aug 1834 at Wrockwardine-wood Shropshire.

The Peter Price staying with the family in the 1841 census has to be a relation, probably Thomas’s father. We have found a Peter Price , Mary Pickering marriage 31 Dec 1809 at Wrockwardine Shropshire but cannot find any children of this marriage so it appears they were non- conformists. Wrockwardine is a mining area.

In 1831 census of Wrockwardine Wood there is Peter Price head . In the household there are two families, two males over 20, one female under 20 and one over. Therefore it would seem that at this stage 18 months after Thomas and Elizabeth Colley were married they were living with Peter. Both were miners.

There is a Peter Price born 6 July 1789 Shifnal, not far away, parents Thomas and Mary. Also at Wrockwardine is a JamesPrice/ Elizabeth Ward ,miner of Nabb non conformist who had sons in the 1830’s, John, Moses and Enoch . Enoch also was registered at Hadnall dissenting church Myddle.

On 28 November 1829 Thomas Price married Elizabeth Colley at Wellington Shropshire.  Both signed with their mark and witness was William Colley. Since Elizabeth was under age this is likely to be her father.

Elizabeth  Colley (Coleey) christening:  13 Oct 1811  at Lilleshall, Shropshire, parents  William Colley(Coleey) and Elizabeth . Other siblings bapitism dates all Lilleshall: Emma 6 Oct 1811, Sarah 1814, William 1824, Thomas 1827.

William is likely to be the William christened 20 Jul 1788 at Shifnal Mother: Sarah Colley The only marriage of a William Colley and Elizabeth I can find is to  Elizabeth  Hall on 17 Nov 1810 at Ellesmere,Shropshire.
